Are you wondering about the cost of a Tampa boudoir photography session? This post discusses Offbeat Boudoir, your Tampa boudoir photographer’s pricing and reveal appointment.

The Reveal

First let’s talk about the reveal. This is literally HALF the fun of doing a session with me! For example, some things clients have said at their reveal are, “HOLY SHIT!” “THAT’S ME?!” “DAMN I LOOK GOOOOOOOD!” You come back into the studio, sit down and relax (no kids, pets or other distractions) and view all your images for the first time. This should be done like this, not surrounded by distractions on your phone. The reveal is a huge part of the experience, which is why I like to call it a reveal (using dramatic words is fun). You’ll get a slideshow with my personal favorites to view, just a warm up. Then we delve into your full gallery and that’s where the real fun begins. You’ll choose all your favorites, then, based on what you want to spend, we will narrow those down to whatever number we need to.

I receive a lot of questions from clients and potential clients about why the pricing is a bit higher than other sessions. Since boudoir photography is in and of itself a very different form of photography compared weddings and family portraits, it is priced differently. Boudoir photos are usually sensitive, intimate, and some clients want to keep them completely private. Due to that, it takes a bit more on our end as photographers. For example, since there is no model release, boudoir clients photos will not be shared unless they decide to voluntarily sign a release. This means, we as photographers won’t have any content to share to get potential other business. It sort of hurts our marketing, HOWEVER, this is why I personally offer discounts for signing releases. Beyond the marketing aspect, we are also required to use printing labs and galleries that have extra privacy and work primarily with boudoir and erotic photographers.

I take boudoir photography very seriously. I hold my client’s privacy in the utmost importance. I want this to be a luxury experience, something you will never forget. I know its worth it because I’ve done it for myself, TWICE! You deserve it too!
